Mobile Flat Tire Repair in Kitchener-Waterloo

What We Can Repair

Most punctures caused by nails, screws, or road debris can be repaired safely when:

The puncture is 1/4 inch (6mm) or smaller
The damage is in the tread area only
The tire has not been driven flat for an extended distance
There is sufficient tread depth remaining

We use an industry-standard patch-plug combination for a safe, lasting repair.

When Replacement Is Needed

Not every flat can be fixed. We recommend replacement when:

The puncture is larger than 1/4 inch
Damage is in or near the sidewall
The tire has run flat and the sidewall is deformed
Tread depth is already below safe limits
There are multiple punctures or structural damage

We carry a wide selection of common tire sizes on our vans, so in many cases we can replace the tire at the same visit.

Repairable vs. Non-Repairable Damage

Not every flat can be safely patched. As a general rule, a tire can only be repaired when the damage is a small, clean puncture in the tread area, away from the sidewall. We'll always recommend replacement instead of repair when we see:

A nail or puncture near the sidewall — the sidewall flexes constantly as the tire rolls, so a repair there is prone to failure.
A rip or tear in the rubber rather than a clean puncture — the surrounding material is too damaged to seal reliably.
A blowout — once the tire's structure has failed, it can't be restored to a safe condition.

If your tire falls into one of these categories, we carry a wide selection of common sizes on our vans and can usually replace it during the same visit.
